Import Clips to Homemade DVD Presents

Download DVD Slideshow Builder and install it, go to "Organize" tab and import your photos, videos and music files.

Supported video formats:*.avi, *.wmv, *.dat, *.vob, *.mov, *.asf, *.mpg, *.mpeg, *.mp4 and *.flv. Furthermore, * .rm, *.rmvb. However, some content protected and copyright protected music or videos are not supported by the program.
Supported images: *.bmp; *.jpg; *.jpeg; *.tif; *.tiff and *.png

If required, you can also edit the imported photos/videos using the built-in tools issued by double-clicking photo/video thumbnails on Storyboard.

Apply Transition and Motion Effects to DVD Presents

The DVD slideshow maker contains more than 100 advanced transition and motion effects, which could be specified to desired slide.Drag the transition to the selected photo directly. It will replace the current one. Before applying, double-click transition thumbnail to preview in the beside player. You could also randomize transitions or apply one transition to all.

Note: Setting transition effect duration to a video is available. However, the duration can't be longer than the duration of video. Meanwhile, once you applied transition effect duration to a video, the duration of video displayed under video thumbnail will be changed.

Apply DVD Menu Templates

Before applying a template, you can go to a category from the "Category" drop-down list and all the templates in this category will be shown in the Templates Explorer. Many pre-made DVD menu templates are provided on the right of Create tab. Double click desired menu template to apply the selected template. And then right-click on the right to customize menu to get a personalized slideshow DVD menu.

Background Settings for Menu Page

Four options are for your choice. They are Use lideshow, use video, use image, and use color. Slideshow and video are dynamic background. They will make the menu page more livelyr. If we just want part of the video or the slideshow to be the background, please move the trim button at each end of the play line to trim it.

Burn Christmas DVD Presents

The final step is to burn DVD presents. To do so, just select Burn to DVD as the output format and click Burn to burn photo DVD.

Burner:Select a burner in the drop-down list. If you just installed a burner (or plugged a USB burner), you need click button "Refresh" to update the burner information.

Burn Engine: You can use the built-in engine, don't need a third-party burning software as burn engine.

Note: If you choose to create your Christmas slideshow into video formats, you can then upload it to YouTube. Prior to that, you may need to sign up in YouTube.
